The Swedish experimental pop outfit Fredrik grew out a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Fredrik and singer Lindefelt, both of whom also worked together in an indie electronic duo named <a href="spotify:artist:1c2MBw80AlngBX3WpxpQd2">the LK</a>. As Fredrik, they carved out a genre-bending sound that reflected its influences, a myriad blend of '60s and '70s scenemakers like <a href="spotify:artist:2Zi0XljYMecih2LyEEWFla">Bo Hansson</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2LIdnZDzySb04oH40be1fR">Fairport Convention</a>, as well as more contemporary envelope pushers such as <a href="spotify:artist:46urSPEzIrRVqKqciwOq2f">Jim O'Rourke</a> and Maja Ratkje.
