FRGMNTS is a duo from Lund, Sweden. The band was formed in 2023 and immediately started the recording of their debut album.
The sound ranges from shoegaze to atmospheric post-rock, using multiple layers of guitars, keyboards and vocals. Clearly influenced by post punk of the 80´s, 90´s grunge and shoegaze and post-rock of the 2000´s, the band blends wall of sound-guitars with melancholic melodies resulting in what is perhaps best described as sadgaze.
FRGMNTS debut single "2 a.m." was released on February 14th 2025, followed by the debut album "The sound of letting go" in March.
