The Friday Cleaners is a six-piece indie band from Tagbilaran, Bohol—born from a random Discord call and brought together by instant musical chemistry during their first jam on February 9, 2022.
With Sam Biliran leading the way with his soulful vocals, the band is made complete by Zachary Ferolino’s smooth lead guitar, Sev Daniel Abonete’s steady rhythm guitar, Ardee Bitancor’s deep bass grooves, John Benedict Cañete’s melodic keys, and Maverick “Boris” Daniel’s electrifying drums.
Drawing inspiration from jazz-infused indie acts, The Friday Cleaners strive to bring a fresh sound to their hometown, where such styles are still a rarity. Their unique blend of jazzy chord progressions, poetic lyricism, and dynamic rhythm changes has been turning heads—especially among the Boholano youth.
Since their debut gig, they’ve been playing local shows and special events, steadily building a following and refining their sound. This journey culminated in the release of their first single, Falling Down, on March 10, 2023.
With an ever-evolving style and a clear vision, The Friday Cleaners aim to keep delighting ears—and they're just getting started.
