Funkeestas is a band known for fusing elements of funk with other musical genres. They’re an indie act with a unique blend of rhythm and style, incorporating groovy, eclectic and soulful elements in their songs.

Active from 2001 to 2009 in Angeles City, Philippines. They were featured in the city's annual street party "Tigtigan, Terakan keng Dalan" for 6 straight years. They released an indie album in 2006, then disbanded in 2009.

In 2016, they worked on a cover of Eraserheads’ “Wishing Wells” which was released in YouTube (legally granted mechanical license for distribution in 2024). This started the continuous writing and re-recording of old and new songs.

By 2023, they are back, playing gigs, hoping to make a mark in the art of music. They have released several works which are available on most music streaming platforms.

Funkeestas’ current lineup consist of original guitarist Marcus, original drummer now turned bassist Dirtwurx, along with newcomers Rob on vocals and Kevin on drums.
