Gabríel’s melodic musical storytelling and holistic creative vision set him apart as a true auteur of postmodern classical music. His work draws inspiration from Nordic folk traditions, poetry, and film. At only 26, Gabríel Ólafs is arguably Gen Z’s most important composer.

Gabríel’s studio albums "Absent Minded" (2019), "Piano Works" (2020), "Solon Islandus" (2022), and "Lullabies for Piano and Cello" (2023) have garnered the young composer over 250-million streams to date.

Gabríel’s latest album "Polar" and the narrated companion album "Polar: Traveler's Log" featuring actress Hera Hilmar and story by Rebecca Roanhorse, are out now.
