GANNA is Ukrainian singer, composer, producer and live looping artist based in Berlin.
At the age of 13, she emigrated with her parents from Ukraine to Germany. Today GANNA is considered “one of the most impressive singers and musicians of the European jazz and world music scene” (Ö1 radio, Austria). About her live performance London Jazz News (UK) writes: "The levels of talent – even wizardry – musicological, composer-ish, vocal – which run through her and in so many different ways are extraordinary.”
GANNA combines Ukrainian folklore with jazz, improvised and experimental music. Inspired by folklore research travels in different regions of Ukraine, she is actively engaged in spreading the cultural heritage of her homeland Ukraine.
