Gluten Free Bible Study (GFBS) was formed in mid-2023 in the city of Yogyakarta. The band was initiated by a shared desire to create a new sound in the Yogyakarta music scene. It was gradually filled with members: Akbari on drums, Rifnaldy on rhythm guitar, <a href="spotify:artist:0kjXPHsw75oVJRESJOBekq" data-name="Zuriel Delpiero">Zuriel Delpiero</a> on lead guitar, Morisco and <a href="spotify:artist:7nMudqMxgZtiZ66x7fzKWb" data-name="Nadya Rizqi">Nadya Rizqi</a> on vocals, and Rajasa on bass. The name Gluten Free Bible Study was taken from a cookbook on the internet with the same title.
Starting from a love for music and a desire to create, they eventually formed a collaborative space for working together in the Alternative genre. With a blend of thick instrument sounds with reverb, Morisco's distinctive scream, and gloomy lyrics that pierce the hearts of listeners.
