In the summer of 2018, Ghosts Of The Sun was born out of a friendship between three of its founding members spanning nearly 20 years. Collectively through earlier projects, its members have shared the stage with Devin Townsend, Soulfly, Sevendust, 30 Seconds To Mars, Panic At The Disco, and American Head Charge. In early 2020, they joined the team at CB Entertainment following the release of their first album "Existia", gaining the attention of Revolver, Alternative Press, and No Clean Singing.
Ghosts Of The Sun is a three-piece post metal outfit that draws from a wide range of genres including ambient, progressive, industrial, and post-rock. Songs are crafted emphasizing atmosphere, contrast, dynamics, patience, and exploration. As a group of avid outdoorsman in northern Wisconsin, the music composition reflects the brutality of harsh living conditions, with the serenity of the remote, unpopulated areas that the band calls home.
