With Our Arms to the Sun

An evocative, versatile, post-metal unit of 3 brothers from the Arizona desert, With Our Arms to the Sun was formed in 2012 around the talents of Josh Breckenridge (guitars, noise, vocals), Joseph Leary (guitars, programming), Joseph Breckenridge (bass). Employing a heady, textural blend of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, and electro-ambient, the band's cinematic style has drawn comparisons to other sonic boundary-pushing ensembles. The band issued their well-received debut long-player The Trilogy independently in 2013, which resulted in a few years of touring supporting major known acts including Tool, Primus, Coheed and Cambria, Mushroomhead, and John5. The band self released their fourth record ORENDA in 2016 co produced by Buzz Osborne of The Melvins. In 2020 WOATTS released their 5th studio album titled “The Mogollon Monster” that was produced and engineered by band member Josh Breckenridge. Their 5th album included the singles “The Ride” and “Meet you in the light” and was their most detailed and powerful release from yet. The band is currently writing their 6th full length album.
