PART 1
First half of the 2000s, Notaresco in the province of Teramo: Corrado de Fabritiis and Danilo Malatesta found the Sound of Soul. They begin touring first in Italy, then in Europe (remaining in Dublin from 2005 to 2010), playing their repertoire of original music, in English and in Italian. They make important encounters (Morcheeba, Kings of Leon, JJ72, Max Gazzè, Cisco and others…) they record an album (Beauty) and two DEMOs, they win prizes and awards and, over 10 years, they will collect more than 300 concerts. The SOS experience ends in 2018, following disagreements with the other members of the band.
PART 2
After the somewhat theatrical dissolution of SOS, Danilo and Corrado founded Giove. The project is immediately clear: get in a position to play live in the shortest possible time. In 5 months they set up an innovative visual show, which revolves around a repertoire of all new songs. They are passionately dedicated to the study of recording techniques, including analogue ones, producing their own songs. The covid stops them like everyone else in 2020 and 2021, a period used to open a Twitch channel, a theater of live performances on a bi-weekly basis, for over a year. In 2022 they started again with summer live shows, and in February 2023 OUTSTREAM, their first album, will be released, anticipated by two singles.
