An Italian flute player and composer for said instrument. The most important aspect of Briccialdi's career was his technical innovation for the flute which consisted of the addition of a B-flat key. This was improved upon in Florence. Giulio's compositions consisted of concertos and operatic fantasies for the flute as well as one opera.
