GOLD FURS is Becca Murray, a self taught multi instrumentalist and songwriter based in Glasgow, UK. Her music is influenced by mysticism, folk, psychedelia and gothic themes from which she crafts beautiful and often haunting melodies.
Becca began pursuing music in the 00s, performing in various guises/bands (notably The Creeping Ivies in which she made two albums) and Gold Furs initially existed as a side project for her more introspective and spiritual songwriting. In 2016 she recorded her first EP DREAMS, followed up in 2019 by EP Love Magyck. In 2020 she recorded and released her first solo album ‘Enchantments Under the Sea’ which was recorded on an old vintage organ. This was followed up in 2021 by ‘Haunt’, another album of organ songs and then in July 2021 she released her first guitar album ‘Songs From Witch Mountain’.
