golda may is from the chicago and san diego suburbs, raised by ukrainian jewish parents, two older sisters and several cats. obsessed with singing and melodies from a very young age, golda grew up soundtracking her own life. she writes and sings about insecurity, anger, love, sadness, the beauty and joy of life, loneliness, rejection, nihilism, and existential dread. her unique lyrical, melodic, production, and vocal approaches create a golda may world where she hopes that people will be able to access hard-to-put-words-to feelings within themselves and perhaps feel some magic too. outside of music, golda can be found meandering a grocery store, practicing energy work, tossing jokes around, working her desk job, drawing pictures of her friends, petting her kitty xena, or visiting her favorite place Seattle. she currently resides on the east side of LA.
