"Something soulful and brilliant going a bit supernova.....stirring and rather excellent" -
Adam Walton, BBC Wales.
Goldsithney are brothers Drew and Rich Turner who grew up in rival bands with very different musical tastes. Their debut album took 2 years of writing to create and 30 years of fighting to start.
Their debut single 'Willow' was released Feb 2023 with the eponymous album out June 2nd 2023. Drew, the eldest and supposedly the wisest brother plays basses, keys and sings. Rich, the youngest and definitely the biggest show-off, plays guitars, keys and sings.
The album was recorded in the depths of Pembrokeshire and Dorset, and was polished off at Mwnci studio in Carmarthenshire. It features a mix of indie, folk, rock, electronica and psychedelic orchestral vibes.
Reviewers, Radio DJs and listeners have compared their music to Mercury Rev, Elbow, Air, Bon Iver and Granddaddy.
St Sithney is the patron saint of sick dogs and bass solos.
"Stop whatever you are doing immediately, and get the debut album from Goldsithney straight into your ears and souls" - Lord Hoptimus Havering
