Goodnight Nurse are back, bringing to an end their ‘indefinite hiatus’ that lasted over thirteen years and saw the band members branch out to forge incredibly successful music industry careers of their own. Goodnight Nurse played hundreds of shows across NZ and Australia, and release two NZ Top 5 albums and five NZ Top 40 singles.
“Even after all this time, I still get messages from people asking if Goodnight Nurse will ever get back together,” says lead singer Joel Little, who has gone on to write and produce hit songs with artists such as Taylor Swift, Lorde, Khalid and Imagine Dragons.
“We started making music to have fun with our friends, and just for the simple joy of doing it,” says drummer Jaden Parkes, now one of the lead singers of hugely popular band Leisure. “Playing these songs live again takes you right back to that feeling.”
