Gray Dens is an indie alternative band hailing from Orange County, California. Initially formed by Grady Penna (vocals, songwriting, and guitar), the band released its debut EP in 2023. Following this release, long-time friends Jake Mazon (bass) and Tyler Penna (drums) joined Grady to solidify Gray Dens as a dynamic three-piece band. Their unique sound draws influences from a broad range of genres and artists, creating a diverse musical style anchored by descriptive lyrics that hone in on various poignant themes and topics, often contemplating the deeper meanings behind personal identity and relationships. The members of Gray Dens bonded over a shared love of music through years of hosting the What’s Your Record? Podcast together, which eventually led to their collaboration as a band. With the addition of Jake and Tyler, Gray Dens is set to release their first EP as a full band in 2024, marking an exciting new chapter in their musical journey.
