Grey Fries: sounds like something you might try in the new hip fast-food-joint in your city, but is actually a duo of two goofballs trying to bring six guitar strings, a bunch of cymbals and drumheads and some vocal chords to swing in harmony in order to groove themselves right into your hearts and hips. Mostly your hips, tho. They have been called „awkward“ (by Simon Conrads, singer of the Grey Fries) and „really underwhelming“ (by Julien Pfeil, drummer of the same band) and so far, nobody else seems to have anything to say about them. Despite having had no success thus far, they just cannot stop recording and dropping fresh music into the world, branching out in different styles and drawing influences from bands like „Various artists“, „Feat.“ and „Unknown artist“. If you lend the Grey Fries one or two of your ears, their music will definitely do something to you. We are still conducting a survey about the various effects of GF songs on listeners, but so far we have encountered: tears, floss dancing, notorious dabbing and a sudden affection for the character of Jar Jar Binks.
