The Dubliner has gone from playing open mics night after night to supporting artists like Pete Doherty, Damien Rice, Gabrielle Aplin, and The Fratellis, taking his skills from street to stage.
His 2015 debut EP Good Boy gained millions of streams, with support from BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac and XFM’s John Kennedy. He followed up with Textile Baby, a bold departure in sound, produced by Iestyn Polson (Patti Smith, White Ladder).
Alongside music, he has explored poetry and visual art, holding a well-received joint exhibition with his partner, Anne Laure Lacan.
Since 2025, he has been releasing music under his own name, Maurice O’Connor, with a focus on deeply personal, reflective work.
