Gutted Souls

GUTTED SOULS started in 2004 when the members of the band NECROPEDOPHILE, after releasing their demo FETAL GORE of 2002, started deviating from their proposed path of making Traditional Death Metal to something more Technical and Progressive.

The band suffered countless setbacks since then, with numerous line-up changes, and the sole remaining member is Iron (<a href="spotify:artist:2qdjQDXWvWAx2AyWGc1fe6" data-name="Incognosci">Incognosci</a>, Ex-Anopsy, Ex-Diisgraça). But the idea of making Death Metal with lyrics that you would actually want to read, and a desire to inform about the realities of psychopathy, manipulation of the media, the corruption of science and religion, made the band resist. Influenced by <a href="spotify:artist:35jmO5o3AhUV70kiR7u4Nw" data-name="Morbid Angel">Morbid Angel</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6u1oqIGVTj3TPVVcwn9Qt5" data-name="Monstrosity">Monstrosity</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4ItRDIouodpnW6nm4TYDk1" data-name="Suffocation">Suffocation</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7i82bJxWj1Tggc7pnU1hzt" data-name="Obscura">Obscura</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2DqzOWVL2ly48IA9bpZdie" data-name="Dying Fetus">Dying Fetus</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:17MbhJOaaPHuWnRaWU9xkc" data-name="Decapitated">Decapitated</a>, and other modern acts, we carved our sound. We have since shared the stage with established underground names such as Master, <a href="spotify:artist:2h7HrMDoZpWxx3uAuJxyj9" data-name="Abysmal Dawn">Abysmal Dawn</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7sJC2WkTzn7gqUhVfP9sOm" data-name="Carach Angren">Carach Angren</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3MKwCexzAd8YTdsSjRkKbv" data-name="Unleashed">Unleashed</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3pzAW9xs16rX8fukH8wV6N" data-name="Krisiun">Krisiun</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0SbGI4sb8dAKFZnK7RFyhz" data-name="Obituary">Obituary</a>, among others and we just released our new album The Illusion of Freedom, produced by the renowned drummer Rodrigo Oliveira (<a href="spotify:artist:3IPsbVbc2hVQMU50DZu9gD" data-name="Korzus">Korzus</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1oueQWyrcULGbpk0DyiqGf" data-name="Armored Dawn">Armored Dawn</a>).
