Teaching Assistant by day and Producer by night, Derry-born ‘GVN’ dropped his Anjunabeats debut ‘I Don’t’ in 2021 as a serious statement of intent.
First introduced to the label by anamē’s Marcus Schössow, the two would go on to collaborate on the 700th Anjunabeats release, ‘Take Me There’, which earned spins from Lane 8, Anja Schneider, Armin van Buuren, Kryder, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many more.
The Irish-native showed no signs of slowing down in the years that followed, serving up remixes for the likes of Lange and Chakra and attracting support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Jaguar. His solo release ‘Ethereal’ also attracted numerous plays on the BBC’s coverage of the 2020 Euro’s tournament.
GVN kicked off 2024 with his dynamic double-header 'Thinking About You / Believer', which earned early support from BBC Radio 1's Jaguar and on BBC Music Introducing in Sussex & Surrey.
Just off the heels of his latest ‘Each Moment’ EP release, which gained further support on Radio 1 Introducing, expect more in the pipeline from GVN in 2025.
