HALCALIはHALCAとYUCALIの2人組ユニット。2人は小学生時代から非常に仲が良いダンススクール仲間で、2002年に開催されたfemaleラッパー・オーディションで優勝し、2003年1月にシングル「タンデム」でCDデビューした。
「HALCALI」という名前の由来は2人の名前である「HALCA」と「YUCALI」を合わせたもの。RIP SLYMEのRYO-ZとDJ FUMIYAによるO.T.F（オシャレ・トラック・ファクトリー）が全面的にプロデュースしている。
2025年海外を中心に「おつかれSUMMER」がヒットし、再び注目を浴びている。
