“音楽万歳”を掲げ、FUNK、SOUL、JAZZ、LATINなどのルーツミュージックをベースにHIPHOP、ROCK、SKAなどをミックスしたクロスオーバーな音楽性で注目を集めている。
2019年テレビアニメ『BEASTERS』の主題歌『Wild Side』をインディーズでリリース、翌2020年には世界的に大ヒットしたテレビアニメ『呪術廻戦』エンディングテーマ『LOST IN PARADISE feat.AKLO』でメジャーデビューし、ロサンゼルス・エンゼルス在籍時の大谷翔平選手が入場曲に使用して大きな話題となる。2022年にはテレビアニメ『ゴールデンカムイ』オープニングテーマ『NEVER SAY GOODBYE feat.Mummy-D』を、2024年にはテレビアニメ『ザ・ファブル』の第1クールオープニングテーマ『Professionalism feat.般若』第2クールエンディングテーマ『BEYOND feat.MaRI』を連続で手掛けた。2025年1月クールからは「CASANOVA POSSE」がTVアニメ「Dr.STONE」第4期第1クールオープニングテーマに起用。
その音楽は世界でも人気を博し、ブラジル、中国、韓国など、毎年様々な国でライブを実施。フェスにも多数出演し、世界中のオーディエンスを沸かせている。
ALI is a solo project led by vocalist LEO, who is of Japanese, Spain, the UK, and the Philippines heritage and raised in Shibuya, Tokyo. With the motto "Long Live Music!", ALI blends a variety of genres—FUNK, SOUL, JAZZ, and LATIN—with HIPHOP, ROCK, and SKA to create a distinctive crossover sound. This unique style has captured global attention, leading to live performances in Brazil, China, Korea, and beyond.
In 2019, the indie release of "Wild Side," the theme song for the TV anime “BEASTARS”, marked ALI’s early success. The following year, ALI released their major debut single, “LOST IN PARADISE feat. AKLO,” the ending theme for the globally acclaimed anime “Jujutsu Kaisen”, which gained widespread attention. In January 2025, “CASANOVA POSSE” was released as the opening theme for the TV anime “Dr. STONE” Season 4.
