Hana Oceans

Singer/songwriter Hana Oceans creates ethereal indie pop with acoustic and electronic textures. With enchanting vocals and haunting melodies, she holds her listener close to each note she sings. The musical landscape is a map and a compass through the intensity of being human. Inspired by symbolism, mysticism and nature, Hana made her debut in 2015 with her critically acclaimed EP ‘Dust’.

Born Hanna Nilsson in Gothenburg, she began writing music after gaining inspiration whilst travelling the world at a young age. The years that followed she began studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston where she wrote and recorded the EP 'Dust'. After the release of her debut in 2015, Hana fell into depression causing her to take a break from music to study a bachelor in comparative religion. But music had other plans. In 2019 she spent the summer alone in a cabin on the island of Fårö, Sweden, where she found the peace and inspiration to start recording her forthcoming EP ‘Austers’ that will be released on the 12th of mars 2021.
