Hi, it’s Tim, the voice of Handsome Poets. Picture high school buddies and me on a Gouda farm. Erik, a songwriter-producer lived next door and entered the scene. Our journey started in our kitchen, birthing our very first tunes.
🎶 Since 2010, we've played 700+ stages across the Netherlands, from Lowlands to Pinkpop. "Sky on Fire" became our anthem, chart-topper, and even starred in 'The Edge of Seventeen'. In 2018, we wove magic with 'Make It Better (Acoustic Sessions)', a Spotify favorite!
🌟 COVID-19 shuttered theaters, opening a new chapter. I was invited to play at a high school and talk about inspiration. I took Erik, and for a year, we found ourselves in hotel lobbies because of the early morning get-ins for those school shows. Amidst comfy sofas and lobby chit-chats, we wrote a new album, armed with nothing but a ukulele and a trusty microphone.
