Happy Ol' McWeasel is a folk punk rock band that has been thrilling audiences with their unforgettable repertoire for over 17 years; since March 2007, when they formed and became that acrobatically loud and thirsty Slovenian folk punk rock band that consistently delivers epic concerts.
The band's roots in Maribor, Slovenia's second largest city with industrial tradition, and their affinity for Celtic punk have given birth to a distinctive folk punk rock identity with an original musical catalogue that is both unique and gripping. To date, they have released three albums. Their debut, No Offence (2012), stirred up the local music scene and gradually resonated throughout Slovenia. The follow-up, Heard Ya Say! (2015), propelled them to a wider European audience, showcasing their talent on stages across the continent. In 2023, they released their third, Such is Life: stylistically distinctive, true to the band's style, yet full of freshness, new musical territories, and challenges, it brings 13 new songs; from fast-paced pieces to ballads, from entertaining adventures to serious criticism of the modern world, from typical folk punk approaches to unique, genre-diverse additions.
