Hathaw9y is an indie pop band formed in Busan, Korea. The band gradually gained recognition through demos uploaded to SoundCloud during their early days. They debuted with the EP [Boy Loves Hayley] in November 2020. Their live performance of "Scribble" on Naver OnStage received 740,000 views, establishing them as one of Busan's leading bands alongside Say sue me and BosudongCooler.
In 2022, hathaw9y released [Love Sand] in collaboration with BosudongCooler, introducing the Busan band scene to Korean music fans as a new trend. In 2023, the band released its first full-length album [Essential], exploring music that only hathaw9y can create. Currently, they actively perform in both Busan and Seoul, while also expanding their presence on stages across overseas locations such as Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand.
After releasing three digital singles, starting with “Drive into Your Heart” in June 2025, the group will unveil their second album, showcasing their unique sensibilities and matured musical capabilities.
