Born in 2002 on the beautiful heathlands of the Veluwe, with the ambition of combining Viking choirs and metal, HEIDEVOLK is a group of six men from Arnhem, Gelderland (NED). Unique in its genre, they conquer stages throughout the world with their instantly recognizable dual clean male vocals and their irresistibly catchy songs that ignite the pagan fire in the souls of many. They deliver their music on divine matters and profane pleasures with equal integrity, fueled by folkloric fire and pagan pride. With a repertoire ranging from epic to raging, captivating live shows and an undying desire to perform, HEIDEVOLK has become a familiar face in Europe, North America and South America. HEIDEVOLK stands for uncompromising attitude, intense shows and the transcendence of barriers between performer and audience.

For more than twenty years, HEIDEVOLK has invited you to take a step back from the incessant barrage of media and stimuli, to take a breath and observe the world around you, letting its rich content captivate and enchant you. Now, while the world gets more and more diffuse, while societies are pressuring us to choose sides and narrowing algorithms create a misleading sense of reality, HEIDEVOLK is asking you to take another step back and observe something even closer: the self.

Guided by the qualities of the runes, “WEDERKEER” (Return, Revive) takes you into an introspective journey through stories about growing up, finding your “Self” and crafting your own path.
