HEMLOKK is a Black Metal / Dark Folk solo project hailing from Sussex, UK, and was founded in 2023. The band name is inspired by the Norwegian word for the Hemlock tree, which symbolizes nature's resilience and strength. The music itself is inspired by the natural beauty of the forests and heathlands along the Sussex coast. Hemlokk is the work of Heidi Hildred Bramber (otherwise known as Æthelheid) who writes and records all instruments, lyrics & vocals.
