Moving from the UK to California at 21, Henry played his first shows in the small coffee shops and folk clubs of Los Angeles and San Francisco. There he was introduced to the music of artists like Bon Iver and Ray Lamontagne who helped shape his early writing and songs that would later appear on his self-released debut album 'Alive In America'.
Since returning home to London, his music has been championed by the likes of Clash, Songwriting Magazine, Wonderland, Americana UK, Absolute Radio, BBC Introducing and Mahogany. Alongside his band, he has performed at the Great Escape Festival and on The Acoustic Stage at this year’s Glastonbury.
His forthcoming album 'Things Are Moving All Around Me', due January 23rd, was co-produced with Blaine Harrison from Mystery Jets and recorded at Middle Farm Studios in Devon. The album marks a departure from the stark and sparse arrangements of 'Alive In America' with Grace joined by Harrison on keys, Brian Love on guitar, Tom Holder on bass and Toby Evangelou on drums.
