Songs of Boda is the musical platform of singer-songwriter Daniel Skoglund. Hailing from Borås in Sweden he began playing guitar at the age of nine and music was then forever on his mind. Ending up in Gothenburg he joined old friend Niklas Hedström in his band Rambling Nicholas Heron as a guitarist . They released album Cannot Feel At Home In This World Anymore in 2012 produced by Björn Olsson. Alongside his musicianship, Boda began making room for his own compositions under the name of Songs of Boda.
Band members varies but drummer Emil Brandqvist (Emil Brandqvist Trio), synth player/singer Gustav Svedung (Gus By Heart) and Anders Grahn remains backbone. Grahn, solid sideman to Swedish phenomenon Daniel Norgren which later led up to Skoglund joining Norgrens band as well. In 2015 SoB acted as support on Norgrens Scandinavian tour.
First album ”Loophole” was released in 2015 (By Heart Rec) and the song”Where My Hands Might Go” gained good digital numbers and SoB signed with Swedish Indie label Adore Music where the album was rereleased in 2017.
Album ”Iago” was released 9th of March 2018 and was critically acclaimed that year. Since then album and SoB has been spreading its gospel. 2019 "Meanwhiling" was released and consist of acoustic performances recorded on analogue porta recorded in DS attic.
Thirdfull length album GARLAND was released in 2021 and two single´s has been released from it. In 2024 SoB released fifth studio album LUXURY ITEMS (Adore Music).
