Herban Empire

Herban Empire is an alternative-reggae band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Their smooth reggae rhythms combined with rock oriented guitar and precise vocal harmonies give them a unique and refreshing sound that is sure to please.

Founding band members Andrew Cole (vocals/guitar) and Adam Lenkowski (vocals/guitar) met while attending college at the University of Utah and started jamming together in 2008, ultimately forming the foundation of "The Empire" and continue to this day. Jesse Plautz (bass), Nate Brown (Drums), and Sterling Wootton (Sax) round out the current line up.

Herban Empire has been grateful to share the stage with many great artists including Pato Banton, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Passafire, Bumpin' Uglies, The Wailing Souls, Black Uhuru, and Katastro. They have also been a part of the Reggae Rise Up Utah Festival in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 which features todays best reggae artists including Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, Sublime w/Rome, Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Collie Buddz, Iration, and many more. They have also performed at the famous Red Butte Garden Amphitheater for two different action sports film premieres from Teton Gravity Research.
