During a hiatus in Lady Antebellum's career, Hillary Scott recorded an inspirational album called Love Remains. This 2016 album was credited to Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, a tip of the hat to the extended kin supporting her on this album. Scott started singing with her family as a child, being the daughter of country vocalist Linda Davis and Lang Scott. Hillary made her first professional appearance as part of a holiday concert held by her mother. During high school and college, she continued to perform, eventually forming Lady Antebellum with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood in 2006. Between 2008 and 2014, the trio released five albums, and then in 2016, Scott brought her parents and sister Rylee into the studio to record the modern-day gospel album Love Remains, which appeared in July of 2016, debuting at number one on Billboard's Christian Albums chart and number two on their Top Country Albums chart. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
