Hiphop Tamizha
Last updated: 1 day ago
Hiphop Tamizha isn't just a name—it's a revolutionary wave in the Tamil music scene. Even today a lot of people identify Hiphop to a person rather than a genre in Tamilnadu, such is the impact of Hiphop Tamizha, the pioneers of Tamil Hiphop in India.
From crafting beats in a modest room to dazzling the silver screen as a Kollywood hero, their journey is nothing short of cinematic. Imagine, an independent artist transforming into an entrepreneurial powerhouse, producing movies in the same industry that they started out as just an indie artist.
Well, they’re more than just music. They are a movement. The Jallikattu protests which was sparked by their anthem Takkaru Takkaru, where tamils from all over the world gathered to protest for lifting the ban against jallikattu is an example of what they could do with their music.
