Having released a few independent, co - produced singles at the age of fourteen. Holladay two years later would find themselves signed at the age of sixteen to record label "Silent Giant Entertainment" ran by Edward "Edub" Rios & Lisa "Khool Aid" Rios (2015). two gate openers within the 2000’s chicano scene in which they helped flourish, in terms of commercial success through the airwaves, with their syndicate radio station “Pocos Pero Locos” on LA’s Power 106 and through out the country. giving none preexisting platform to the likes of Baby Bash, Lil Rob, Lala Romero & Nb Ridaz etc.
Edub & Khoolaid provided Holladay with the same platform to voice the message the young artist was adamant about when writing songs. which at the time was unity amongst Latino/a's as Holladay comes from a mix of Afro-Indigenous Heritage.
Holladay made the decision to go independent at the age of eighteen to make music, that Holladay felt allowed them to heal and be spiritually connected. a more introspective approach on music. resulting in a change of sonics & self-produced songs such as "I Don't Know How To Smile", "IWD4U", "Done Giving Out My Heart Featuring Jasper Bones and Victor Internet" and "Baby Boy". three tracks out of the four being Holladay’s take on R&B, filtered through their southern california up bringing.
Emerging from the vibrant LatinX Indie music scene (2017), Holladay continues to push boundaries with their distinct evolving sound and story telling. - v.c
