Christopher, 30, & Vicente “01AIDAN”, 28, a.k.a. <a href="spotify:artist:0aQ90r9TMr6IniH31Me6L8" data-name="Selfsteam">Selfsteam</a>, write and produce in their living room in White Rock, Canada - ironically naming their sonic branch ‘Living Room Pop’, poking fun at the Bedroom Pop niche where they are sometimes placed.
The duo met briefly in Chile while Christopher was visiting in 2015 and hastily decided to form a band. Vince moved to Vancouver, Canada shortly after and some of the recordings which took place within those first months of collaborating were polished and compiled to become the duo’s first official EP as SELFSTEAM; Summer Singles (2017).
SELFSTEAM signed to French powerhouse label Délicieuse Musique in 2018 and release music through their subsidiary label Nice Guys.
"Honey Glaze", their newest offering, is out now via <a href="spotify:artist:3FPxmqqMdZu3QiIhfyZhyN" data-name="Nice Guys">Nice Guys</a>.
