Royston Williams other wise known as shrt'boss was born in Bristol, UK to Jamaican parents, and moved to Amsterdam as a teenager. From & young age Royston was exposed to wide variety of music ranging from Reggae, drum n bass, Garage to rock and roll. He received the name “lyrical” because he would always rhyme whilst talking. He tells us “When I first started out in “Amo Lab”, which is & group put together by Maikal x and DJ Precies, that was the name I went by. But throughout the years I have out grown that name so right now it's "iamRoyston" or "shrt'boss".
