ReniGAD is a Dancehall/Reggae artist described as the freshest familiar face in Dancehall. Known globally as the deejay/rapper and front man from the legendary Jamaican duo <a href="spotify:artist:4GpVRyxDYccJrbQkO3KWws" data-name="RDX">RDX</a>, He began his musical journey in 2007. In 2020 ReniGAD launched his solo chapter producing his first track <a href="spotify:track:0xa3GgIsnseXzwTHfwdOva" data-name="Block Party">Block Party</a> under the GAD People Productions label. Born Carlton Williams in the Waterhouse region of Kingston, ReniGAD as a solo act, has quickly established himself as a skillful lyricist armed with edgy themes and infectious melodies delivered with a thunderous voice. Further releases such as <a href="spotify:track:4kaPDYE8TouAEbSgzfIDbX" data-name="Judas">Judas</a> that peaked on the Applemusic charts at #5 in France & Germany, <a href="spotify:album:4ClNusrpY1vrkwSfqcfJ9N" data-name="Blaze Up">Blaze Up</a> that reached #1 on the Applemusic World charts, both Reggae tracks and ‘Siddung’ with Basshall act Kybba that topped the Netherlands Reggae charts have firmly placed “1GAD” as a rejuvenated force within the Dancehall arena. ReniGAD has toured Europe in 2024 & 2025 with stellar performances in France, Germany, Sweden, Finland and Greece, to touring Kenya, Africa in 2025.
