Introduced as a “living jazz legend” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS) and described as a “virtuoso” by The New York Times, Ibrahim Maalouf was nominated for two consecutive Grammy Awards (2023, 2024) and sells out arenas across Europe while performing in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, such as the Royal Albert Hall (London), Lincoln Center (New York City), the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), and the Volkswagen Arena (Istanbul). A musician, composer, and producer, he has released more than twenty albums and an equal number of film scores, all on his own label, and has sold over 1 million albums around the world. A César Award winner for Best Original Film Score (the French equivalent of the Oscars), Ibrahim remains the only instrumentalist in history to have received Victoires de la Musique awards, France’s equivalent of the Grammys (2014, 2017). In 2017, Quincy Jones became his manager in the United States. The impressive list of his collaborations showcases his eclecticism: Sting, Ty Dolla $ign, Kronos Quartet, Amadou & Mariam, Davido, Matthieu Chédid, Christina Aguilera, Arturo Sandoval, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin, De La Soul, Toumani Diabaté, Jacob Collier, Trombone Shorty, D Smoke, Jon Batiste, Marcus Miller, Gregory Porter, Tank and the Bangas, Cimafunk… In 2027, he is set to embark on a world tour, culminating at Europe’s largest concert venue, Paris La Défense Arena, in a monumental show celebrating his 20-year career on April 10, 2027.
