Icarus is a solo artist based out of Vancouver BC. His music is a reflection of what goes on inside his mind and soul. He does not wish to adapt, change/be changed or replicate anyone. A lot of his music is influenced from his upbringing. He draws inspiration from the lessons he was taught by his family members that have passed on from drug use, murder, and suicide. He grew out of chaos but has always turned to his art as his saviour. His first release <a href="spotify:track:0w6KOeB5fa6DkoTKjFnAF5" data-name="FTL">FTL</a> has gained over 1 million streams with no marketing/promotion or a label. He has collaborated with his friend and local artist <a href="spotify:artist:4oYZcPoj3q3DneXomtQBzg" data-name="Merkules">Merkules</a>. Their tracks have been well received. His new album released July 1st titled “Motorcycle Music” features fellow Canadian artist @<a href="spotify:artist:3lF1gW0El7u8ChPBgl7v8r" data-name="Peter Jackson">Peter Jackson</a> <a href="spotify:album:3wqdBa1vh4mFZ6LFhTeh4C" data-name="Duality">Duality</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6qq96yptd7URY2SNOOnWX0" data-name="Julius Wilson">Julius Wilson</a>. In its opening day it climbed to the #1 iTunes rap album chart. And #2 in overall genres in Canada. He has lots in the vaults and plans on releasing many more songs in 2025.
