2010年のデビュー以来、8枚のオリジナル・アルバムをリリース。クラシックギターを中心とした繊細なサウンドと、幻想的な歌声、詩的な世界観で国内外から高い評価を受けている。2021年から本格的に海外公演を開始し、数々の国際音楽フェスティバルにも出演。2025年1月にはデビュー15周年を迎え、新作『Luminescent Creatures』をリリース。同作を携えたワールド・ツアーでは、アジア、ヨーロッパ、オセアニア、北米、南米の80以上の都市で公演を行い、地球を二度巡る規模となった。公演会場には、ロンドンのロイヤル・アルバート・ホールやロサンゼルスのウォルト・ディズニー・コンサートホールなど、世界を代表する名門会場も名を連ねた。FM京都〈FLAG RADIO〉では奇数月水曜日のDJを務めるほか、文芸誌『群像』での連載執筆、TVナレーション、CM・映画音楽制作、芸術祭でのパフォーマンスなど、多方面で活動している。

Since her debut in 2010, she has released eight original albums. Centered on classical guitar, her delicate sound, dreamlike voice, and poetic sensibility have earned her widespread acclaim both in Japan and abroad.
She began performing internationally in earnest in 2021, appearing at numerous international music festivals. In January 2025, Aoba marked the 15th anniversary of her debut with the release of her latest album, Luminescent Creatures. The accompanying world tour saw her perform in more than 80 cities across Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America, and South America — a journey that effectively circled the globe twice. The tour included appearances at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Royal Albert Hall and Walt Disney Concert .
In addition to her Wednesday DJ slot on FM Kyoto's FLAG RADIO every odd-numbered month, she is active across writing, narration, film composition, and arts festival performances.
