Singer-songwriter and musician from Naples, and granddaughter of an opera singer. From the age of 6 to 14, she studied violin, though singing was her true passion from the start. She lived in London and worked between Tokyo and New York with Japanese composer Yoko Kanno on animated films released worldwide, including Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop.
After returning to Italy, she moved to Rome, where in 2012 she began a project with Francesco Forni that led to three albums and several tours across Europe and Canada. She performed a duet with Marianne Faithfull for the soundtrack of The Girl from Nagasaki (Michel Comte), and collaborated with Max Gazzè for The Dark Side of the Moon concert held at the Pompeii Amphitheatre to mark the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s legendary live show. She continues to work with Yoko Kanno, most recently for the Montreux Jazz Festival (2024), held at Pia Arena in Yokohama.
Her music also blends with film scores, including Il Miracolo (Niccolò Ammaniti), L’arte della felicità, La Gatta Cenerentola, and Yaya and Lenny (Alessandro Rak).
Her debut solo album, produced by Simone De Filippis and Gnut, is set to be released soon. Over the years, she’s collaborated with a wide range of artists like Daniele Silvestri, Roy Paci, Gnut, Sandro Joyeux, Collettivo del Pane, Edoardo Pesce, Roberto Angelini, Pier Cortese, Speaker Cenzou, Almukawama – Zion Train – Zulù.
