The Australian singer/songwriter has received a lot of attention from the film SHORTBUS (2006). Besides the theme track <a href="spotify:track:5zBNzcSfyRgbq8dKZokRdS" data-name="In the End">In the End</a> he wrote further songs performed in the film by himself and featured on the <a href="spotify:playlist:5d3SF79PmXmqRYuh3yvaS2" data-name="Shortbus Soundtrack">Shortbus Soundtrack</a>. He provided vocals on songs (by <a href="spotify:artist:0lbYsAt8JNKNjttbncKg8i" data-name="Yoko Kanno">Yoko Kanno</a>) for the animation-serial <a href="spotify:artist:5b6BHXWm5476zsENRGXPni" data-name="Ghost in The Shell">Ghost in The Shell</a>. His self-titled debut was released in 2008. With <a href="spotify:artist:5WUlDfRSoLAfcVSX1WnrxN" data-name="Sia">Sia</a> he recorded his Christmas Song <a href="spotify:album:6gNhmqkHtwl0zXyKkGEdDe" data-name="Silent Nights">Silent Nights</a>. The forth album was A covers-album <a href="spotify:album:7kJWl9lceievisGVPdy8jY" data-name="Unlearned">Unlearned</a> (2013). His personal hit-parade. In a wide varity of songs he discovered, felt and worked out the emotional core with a lot of respect (<a href="spotify:track:0JIkyxyEbGLdAkBIYSls5B" data-name="I Wanna Dance with Somebody">I Wanna Dance with Somebody</a>, <a href="spotify:track:3JBqbrkGAe52QxGE8a9S3L" data-name="Annie&#39;s Song">Annie&#39;s Song</a>). <a href="spotify:album:5m2jAMMdSRHYeGqwo1Jb5Q" data-name="Life Is Long">Life Is Long</a> together with the Portuguese composer <a href="spotify:artist:1HY3qhAqbGC5jM7lfbSqft" data-name="Rodrigo Leão">Rodrigo Leão</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:3mlxV3eHtMwvoOSLzR6CFj" data-name="Madredeus">Madredeus</a>) followed in 2016. With <a href="spotify:album:1f9re5ShEQg5iFVV3R9uvY" data-name="Ode to Others">Ode to Others</a> (2018) there was a departure from the subject of romantic love and the disappointments that can come from such endeavors. Instead this album pays homage to love in a broader sense. Honors are bestowed to family, friends and the mistreated both alive and deceased. For his album &#39;ADORNED&#39; (2020) ten new versions of his classics have emerged. The new arrangements leave room for the beautiful melodies, they pick up Scott&#39;s touching vocals and open access to his poignant ballads in a way, that they sound lighter.
