Imelda Lizal is an R&B/soul singer-songwriter and musician from Jakarta, Indonesia. She began her journey at 18 by sharing covers on SoundCloud and Instagram, gaining recognition from Indonesian artists such as Teza Sumendra, Eva Celia, Cantika Abigail, and Tompi, as well as international artists including Jacob Collier and Kenyon Dixon. During the pandemic, she taught herself music production and began writing original songs, releasing her debut single “Free” in 2020 and her self-produced EP The Call in 2021. Imelda has collaborated with artists across genres, including Kenny Gabriel, Littlefingers, and Jordy Waelauruw, and has contributed as a songwriter to Eva Celia’s album. In 2024, she released the self-produced single “I Needed Love,” followed by “More Than” in 2025 after signing with Souldout Records. Through honest storytelling, soulful melodies, and her signature vocal riffs and runs, she creates a safe space for listeners seeking comfort, connection, and emotional release.
