Ingo Hoericht studied violin and composition and works as a freelance musician, composer and producer. He lives in a small, colourful house in a large, overgrown garden. He likes to go on holiday in his van, but also likes to stay at home. He composes everywhere: on the beach, while driving, at his grand piano. He has released over 50 albums of his compositions, many of them with his two ensembles, MELLOW MELANGE and SCHNÈ ENSEMBLE, with whom he often performs on stage. Ingo Höricht has written almost 200 songs, loves chamber music and enjoys composing for small ensembles such as string quartets, duos or trios, with a focus on string instruments and piano. He has a wide stylistic range: His works range from neo-classical to jazz, pop, folk and new classical music.
