<a href="spotify:artist:67be2WB3MO8Vb0MtV90bN0" data-name="Ingolf Wunder">Ingolf Wunder</a> (1985, Austria) started his education on the violin at the age of 4. Around 14 years of age his talent for the piano was coincidentally discovered by a teacher from Linz. Wunder gave up violin and began intensive piano studies at the Music Conservatory Linz. A few months later he won his first competition (Cortemilia), XVI European Music Comp. (Torino), The 63. Steinway Piano Comp. (Hamburg) & a few more. One year later he made his debut at the Konzerthaus Vienna. At the age of 16, he was awarded the Liszt Prize at the 36. Int’l F. Liszt Competition in Budapest (Hungary). He continued his studies at the Music University in Vienna. His breakthrough came in 2010: Int’l Chopin Competition in Warsaw brought uproar, recognition, the 2nd Prize, the Best Concerto Prize, the Best Polonaise-Fantaisie Prize & the Public Prize. 2011-2018 he recorded 4 CDs for Deutsche Grammophon. He performed in Europe, Asia & both Americas, including such halls as Musikverein Vienna, Philharmonie Berlin, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (Paris), Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Sala Verdi (Milan), Carnegie Hall (NYC), Mariinsky Theater (St. Petersburg), Music Conservatory (Moscow), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Teatro Municipal (Santiago di Chile), National Concert Hall (Taipei) etc. Recently, he launched APPASSIO.com – an online startup for artistic education. It aims at helping inspired individuals to find the right contacts, to nourish their creativity, interests and artistic passion.
