Issermann

Issermann is a songwriter and producer from London, UK. He writes and produces for himself and others, combining his love for Alternative Pop, his gritty Metal roots and heartfelt, sometimes over-dramatic lyrics. Issermann crafts songs which morph from intimate angsty ballads to explosive, electric guitar-fuelled bangers.

“Issermann” is born out of hours in the studio, singing on instrumentals he would produce for South London rappers, when they didn’t show up to recording sessions. Issermann brings together his teenage years as a metal singer with his experience writing alternative pop, all mixed into an explosive yet intimate daring debut.

The sum of his journey took flight with his first singles ‘Throated’ and ‘Sad and Boring’. Both were squeezed in just a month before Covid hit, alongside a sold out London show at Arch 555 in Brixton. Throughout his following album “Demons”, Issermann explored his sound, lyrically confronting his vulnerabilities with his heart on his sleeve and a wry sense of humour.

Off the back of the success of his last EP ‘Buried’, Issemann sold out headline shows at Servant Jazz Quarter, Space 289, and the Sebright Arms. A million streams later, Issermann is launching a brand new chapter of his truly multi-faceted journey with his latest EP ‘very dramatic and a little pathetic’, released at the end of 2023 via various international labels coming on board to join the ride!
