“Inspire To Show Your Niggas Greatness” 

That’s the motto he lives by and where the acronym itsYNG comes from. “YNG” began his music journey in the town of Northampton where he was raised. 

After listening to his favourite rappers Album <a href="spotify:album:7viNUmZZ8ztn2UB4XB3jIL" data-name="2014 Forest Hills Drive">2014 Forest Hills Drive</a> and finding out that J. Cole primarily handled the production of the albulm himself, itsYNG decided that he would create his own music and dived into the world of production and beat making. From watching YouTube tutorials on how to make beats on FL Studio he began experimenting with influences from Trap, RnB, Afrobeats and explored other genres to create his own sound.


A few years later <a href="spotify:artist:3HvDNLE62VQP2DrPsyMXB3" data-name="itsYNG">itsYNG</a> met the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:578AQdU6CXDjNGUh5aT11D" data-name="Manny Malice">Manny Malice</a>, who would introduced him to the process of recording music and together the pair would create a countless amount of tracks.


In 2020, <a href="spotify:artist:3HvDNLE62VQP2DrPsyMXB3" data-name="itsYNG">itsYNG</a> produced tracks Tetley - Joey Rebz Remix &amp; Fake Love for his friend and fellow artist <a href="spotify:artist:7sQYWMJtIOHhB4CcwkeFpQ" data-name="Hamzysho">Hamzysho</a>. In 2021, after producing on <a href="spotify:album:47XgqfziqKZH7RyjOwSNsu" data-name="State of Mind">State of Mind</a> , itsYNG would go on to produce <a href="spotify:track:7C2PE6MDAXPduUmqJwTd4y" data-name="Sho Empire">Sho Empire</a> and even feature with a verse on the song.


His first single <a href="spotify:track:683suh2PVJUrCZQsFXSfMq" data-name="Up Now">Up Now</a> was released just 10 days after his feature with <a href="spotify:artist:7sQYWMJtIOHhB4CcwkeFpQ" data-name="Hamzysho">Hamzysho</a> with help from fellow Artist &amp; Producer <a href="spotify:artist:3A5xdA6rWEPWAdBMVKk4oT" data-name="Joey Rebz">Joey Rebz</a> followed by the release of “Tuachane” to end the year off.
