Jack Shocklee is a highly skilled musician, producer, and DJ with a passion for music that started at a young age. Growing up in St. Louis, MO, he began playing piano by ear at the age of six, and his mother enrolled him in formal piano lessons. During this time, Jack received extensive training in both jazz and classical music.
Throughout his middle and high school years, Jack's talent for creating beats caught the attention of his peers, and he quickly became known as "DJ Shoc." He would spend his lunch hours crafting new tracks, while rappers gathered around him to freestyle to his beats.
Jack's father gifted him a Korg Triton synthesizer, which opened up a whole new world of producing for him. He went on to attend Belmont University in Nashville, where he studied the music business, taking his trusty synthesizer along with him.
During his time at Belmont, Jack fell in love with Beckah Shae, an award-winning recording artist. The two married, and Jack decided to drop out of college to create Shae Shoc Records with his wife. Together, they have created numerous albums that have been showcased around the world and have garnered several Billboard-charting singles.
Inspired by the sounds of David Guetta, Zedd, and Max Martin, Jack's love of urban pop dance music is evident in his work. Jack's dedication to his craft and his drive to create memorable music make him a true professional in the industry.
