Jade Bennett

Infectious melodies, power vocals and confessional songwriting make up the musical stylings of Kjipuktuk/Halifax-based artist Jade Bennett. In her musings, you’ll find anything from haunting lullabies to vengeful pop. She released her most recent single ‘Unrequited’ in 2023 which blends pop & R&B with scathing lyrics and catchy hooks. Born and raised in the charming South Shore of Nova Scotia, Jade discovered their passion for music at a young age, finding solace and
empowerment in songwriting.

With a voice that carries the raw emotion of lived experiences, Jade fearlessly explores the complexities of queer identity in her music. Drawing inspiration from folk, indie, and pop influences,

Jade's music transcends genre boundaries, creating a sound that is uniquely her own. Her
evocative performances, whether on a dimly lit stage in a cozy café or a bustling music festival, they will knock your socks off with pitch perfect vocals and poetic lyricism.
