Jane Who is a singer/songwriter born in Weert, The Netherlands.
Inspired by daily drama and influenced by songwriters such as Ryan Adams, Damien Rice and Regina Spector, Jane Who writes melancholic pop songs with a dynamic voice.
In 2010 she graduated from Rock City Institute (Eindhoven, The Netherlands), where she studied songwriting. In 2017 She graduated from Codarts, University Of The Arts (Rotterdam, The Netherlands), where she studied songwriting and vocals.
Jane Who has released her first mini-album in March 2016, called “Songs for Robin”. A very intimate and personal record about one guy: Robin. The complete album was an independent release, achieved by crowdfunding.
Jane already achieved quite a lot. She did multiple support shows for artists such as a balladeer, Benny Hitt, and the Dutch Eagles. She sang backingvocals on the a balladeer album “Wolf at the Door”. And she also played on various radio stations, including Slam!fm (national) and L1 (regional).
In May 2016 she took a flight to Ireland, where for the second time, she did a tour in Dublin. She played Whelans, a very populair venue in Dublin, and she also played The Ruby Sessions, where artists such as Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Ed Sheeran and many more have performed!
